If you are going by the calorie count on here you probably won’t lose weight. I try to get at least 5000 steps in a day and not go over 1500. I try to stay right around 1300. I am an eater so I eat lots of lunch meat it’s 4 slices 50 calories and bread 35 calories a slice or a wrap it’s 50 calories. And cheese is 50 calories. And a small can of Pepsi is 100. Lots of water. I also try to drink a few big drinks of water in between each bite. Once a week I have a cheat week where I ate as many calories I want and all the food I miss and have been craving.

Turkey pepperoni is like 70 calories for 17 pieces. Plain Greek yogurt is a great replacement for sour cream.

Missy I looked over your food journal entries and they're a little chaotic. I'm guessing by the amount of fats you're taking in that you may be on a keto diet? But then I see a lot of white bread, pizza rolls, home fries etc too. All of those things can be eaten in moderation. But it'll definetly slow down any weight loss as of now. Another thing I noticed is some days you're only logging 300 calories, 500 calories, for a day? If that's all you're taking in for a day? You're really hurting yourself by doing so. As the body will shut down and hold onto fat for fear of not knowing when it will receive food again. On top of that your protein intake is very minimal. If we're trying to lose fat/weight we want enough protein to build lean mass in it's place. You unfortunately can't accomplish that with only 20 to 30 grams of protein in a day. There's a lot of great information out there to help you. But you have to have a plan/goals. We can't really just mill around and throw things together while expecting a favorable outcome. Consistency is what will take you where you want to be. But it has to be implemented in your eating, CICO, Sleep/recovery, food logging etc.

yes I was doing a little Keto, but I cant take all that cheese & heavy cream...as for white bread I dont remember doing alot of white bread..I usually eat one piece of toast Brownberry whole wheat/70 calories or grain for breakfast..I do eat a low carb mission tortillas for lunch..as for the days that logged 300 - 500 calories its prolly cause I didnt finish logging my items in that day...I get so tired of trying to decide what to eat....I home cook every day..Hubby is diabetic, our Son is staying with us for awhile, and he's Hypoglycemic, then theres my diet..lol I know I dont eat enough protein at all..What would be a good amount of protien I should be eating?? BTW I am 65, turning 66 nxt month, I have Asthma, had both knees replaced, but still run the whole house, take care of hubby, and 3 dogs, my chores never end.... and admittedly, I never eat enough veggies..so today for lunch I had tuna made with a hard boiled egg, yogurt, celery & pico de gallo, and spinach with a diet tea..I think different diets, stress, & too much sitting when I was having breathing issues for 5 months, along with the steroids, messed my body up...I have been working outside for 2 wks now, painting, planting a garden, and today started the flower planting..and I will be cleaning the pool everyday from here on out now that its running, and weeding the garden.so hopefully I can get back on a losing track, doing the extra summer chores..I was using my treadmill but feel I dont have time now..I did take Vit B6 today which gave me way more energy...Consistency your so right! I will work on that too!! ty so very much for taking time to go over my food..I will implement all your suggestions!!!! TY so very much again, and congrats on your success!

Missy I hate how sometimes text is easily misconstrued. I didn't want it to come off as saying you haven't improved. As I don't know you😋😉so how would I know? So I'm glad you took it as constructive criticism if anything. As far as protein there's a million different ideas of how much. For me personally I shoot for my desired body weight in grams. So I'd like to be 180 to 190 lbs so I shoot for that much each day. So whatever your desired weight is would determine it for you. Sounds like you have a full plate... God bless you! I was just trying to give a little insight or some tools that could help you. As far as your age and just being a woman in general I can't really give to much insight. But there are a lot of great women on here who could help out. I'd say this the more you eat at home the better. Base your meals around decent amounts of protein, normal amount of carbs and moderate fats. But ultimately regardless of diet. It's always going to be about burning more calories than you take in. Keep at it you got this!

ty so much nope I thought your post to me was right on..I can be my worst enemy when It comes to diets..I didnt notice..the 1st time I tried Keto I did lose weight..I think back then I lost 17 lbs..But when covid came I was home all the time and ate more exer. less..then the next time I tried Keto I gained..lol I think I did way better yrs ago eating carbs meal planning the day before for myself and no keto..because back then I was 190 or under..now I cant seem to get below 200...But I will put your suggestions into play and enjoy some not too many carbs..lol and eat way more protein! I'm not a big meat eater but I love eggs...and Im gonna cut back on some fats..but I gotta keep my creamer..lol ty so much for all the tips!! I will try my hardest!! ty again!!!

Calories are the only thing that matters it’s not about what you eat. To lose weight you just have to be in a calorie deficit.
