so I reached 199 about 2 months ago. to say that I was ashamed, embarrassed, and disgusted with myself was an understatement. I've had several things happen while I was 'away' - so to speak. my husband attempted to buy an 8 million dollar business (couldn't make it work), I left my old employer July 2022 after a severe issue with anxiety (from being in traffic), started a new job October 2022 that I was miserable at then started a new job internally in a different department in April. I've went off my birth control and the hubby got snipped in late summer last year. I've developed psoriasis. my hubby started working on his long dreamt physics degree and I'm still plugging away at a BBA. after a joke of a raise (he's already being paid considerably under market), my hubby is seeking employment elsewhere and I want nothing to do with his employer. I started a garden, fought a water heater and other several house stuff. I've started taking multivitamins.

I want to try again, but this time - no calorie counting. I was trying CICO and that obviously didn't keep me engaged long term. my employer has this thing called Newtopia that involves a health coach and essentially I'm tasked with stepping on the scale a few times a week, attempting to increase physical activity, and following the red, green, and yellow foods lists and attempting to work on portions and take pictures of my meals and snacks a few times every week. so far I'm down about 3-4 pounds but it could be just water weight. we will see. blood pressure is still healthy and everything else seems fine.
195.8 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 45.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.1 lb a week
