I'm feeling really good with my very slow progress. I'm not actually "trying" very hard but I had bought a new microwave because our old one broke and the new microwave was tiny (since replaced with a larger one because my parents are great and found me a new one for free!) but I had bought smaller dishes for the tiny microwave. And you know what I realized? I love the smaller dishes 😂😂
I always naturally have smaller portion sizes now and it's very easy doesn't even feel like much of a change.
I also made myself a journal months ago with little calendar charts that have goal weight ranges for the end of each month that are very relaxed, I can lose as little as two pounds a month and still feel like I'm achieving my goals.
I figure if I'm ever more motivated some months it will just feel extra good but if I'm less motivated I can still lose two pounds a month pretty easily.
So far it is working out great and keeping me on track. The months are going to pass anyway, if it takes me two years to get to my goal that's still reaching it instead of waking up two years from now still at a weight that isn't comfortable for me.
