I find it hard to be frank of where I am at also. In the past if I gained weight I didn't list it thinking I'll wait till I lose it. But I didn't lose it.

Good for you for getting on the scale. We have to know where we start in order to get to where we want to go!

Don't be overwhelmed with the journey. Just do it one day at a time!

Mizviz--BEST ADVICE I can give you is read CrystalJo74's Journals. From Day 1. This will give you a great start, and also real HOPE! I know because I read all Crystal's journal entries and realized I can do this and I have. Hope this helps you, too :-)

It is definitely 1 day at a time. On November 5, 2018, I started my journey at 300 pounds. Over the next 2 years I lost 129 pounds, and weighed 171. My wife told me I was "too skinny" and needed to gain a few pounds. I did and try to float around 190, though I am a few pounds heavier right now due to the holiday season's good food and also recovering from a knee injury in September 2022. You can do it, and set some mini-goals for yourself,...5 pounds, 10 pounds, or whatever achievable goal in a reasonable period of time. Go for it !!

Slow and steady wins the race! Find a way of eating that gives you results and plan, prep and log your food. Do some kind of exercise, walking is great but whatever gets you moving....you can do this!👍👍
