I joined a gym! I started today.

Awesome! I keep thinking I need to do the same. I have a gym rat coworker who's offered to show me around the weight room. Any serious lifting is going to have to wait until my shoulder recovers a little more

Thank you writingyo! I'm not doing any serious lifting yet because of my high blood pressure. But I hope it gets better soon. I'm doing just weights in machines. But whatever we do, the important thing is to keep moving. I learned that here.

Thank you, TheUnhealthyDaddy. It was pretty packed yesterday on the weight machines but it looks like late in the evening it gets better. I'm still deciding if I want to do early mornings or late evenings. Recommendations?

Hey writingyo! I just came home from the gym. I did like 5 minutes on the elliptical and was done 🤣 but I did about an hour on the treadmill and like 10 minutes on the bike. I also did some weights mostly leg work. Great on the elliptical👏👏👏! I'll be able to not die afterwhen I'm in better shape 😅

Fantastic job! 👏👏👏 I'm afraid I skipped the gym today, but only so we could go on a 4 hour hike 😉 Tomorrow morning is physical therapy for my shoulder, but I'll plan on getting over there after work
