Went running in my new triathlon shorts yesterday. The running didn't go great, but better than last time. I couldn't take a deep breath after without coughing so I'm thinking it's mainly all the stuff in the air. And it doesn't help that my outside running route is somewhat uphill. That probably makes a difference. It is frustrating that my legs aren't really even challenged by the running. It's completely my aerobic fitness that is holding me back.

On a positive note, the triathlon shorts are mucho comfortable for running. I'll try them tomorrow of cycling and see how that goes.

Got a little creative for dinner on Monday night. Grilled a pork roast which I do often but felt like having some grilled vegetables with it. I sometimes do kabobs but it's time consuming especially dealing with the meat. I cut up some green peppers, as sweet onion, and some jalapenos, threw then on a skewer with some olive oil and sea salt. They turned out great. Just doing the vegetables on the kabobs made it quick and easy. I grilled the meat separately which is also very easy. Will have to do that more regularly.

Nice work! On all of the above! I actually prefer my latest pair of tri shorts for bike rides and for running at times. These ones have not given me any problems but I did have a pair in the past that when damp from the swim did tend to give me a bit of chafing during the run along the pad seam. Easily solved with some body glide/chamois butter type stuff. Veggies can also be done quickly and tasty-like on the grill by just putting them in a pocket of foil. They tend to self-steam that way and are very tasty. I do baby taters that way with fresh sprigs of thyme or rosemary or whatever I have on hand all the time. They are yummy!! It's also my favortie way to do corn on the cob when it's in season. :)
