nosequepongo's Journal, 22 September 2022

It looks like I may have not gained any weight on Mexico. I did eat more carbs than usual but I think I kept within my calories and I walked quite a lot (a lot for me)

My feet are still a little bit swollen, I press a finger to them and a hole stays for a while. I don't know how more it'll take to go away completely, I guess I just need to drink more water.

I have an appointment with the nutritionist on the 6th of October. I want to lose another kilo or two by then, I don't know if that's possible but I'll certainly try
272.1 lb Lost so far: 18.7 lb.    Still to go: 128.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 22 September 2022:
1137 kcal Fat: 56.07g | Prot: 86.72g | Carb: 76.61g.   Lunch: Vegetable Soup (Home Recipe), Zucchini , Chicken Breast, Cauliflower Rice. Dinner: Fresh Pork Sausage , Kroger Cheese Sauce - Cheddar, Potato French Fries, Frescampo Arepa Minitela, Zenú Cerdo Desmechado. more...

Hi, Christina Nice to see you. First of all, happy for your progress. However, your symptoms of your feet got my attention. It seems you have pitting edema on your feet. As far as I am concerned, it is not normal. Please, see a doctor as soon as possible. I don't want you to be scared of my comment. I want you to stay healthy and happy. https://www.webmd.com/heart-disease/pitting-edema#:~:text=Pitting%20Edema%20Treatment,-Treatment%20for%20your&text=Eat%20less%20salt.,stop%20fluid%20from%20building%20up.

Try to avoid prescription diuretics instead here are some fruits and vegetables that are natural diuretics Watermelon and grapes are fruits that act as natural diuretics, and celery, asparagus, artichoke, cucumber, eggplant and onion are vegetables that are natural diuretics.

Cucumbers asparagus— just GOOGLE foods with a diuretic effect. You may be surprised at some of them might suggest you buy some mild support hose that may help with that swelling g in your feet and legs. Have you talked with your doc about that? Are you monitoring your sodium intake?

Glad you did well in Mexico! Sorry to hear about your swelling! Do you eat a lot of sodium? You mentioned you are going to a nutritionist. I also see one and it was a game changer for me!! Good luck!👍

Thank you all!!! I feel so lucky to have your support 💓 You are the best!! Debg2023 - thank you!♡ APhoebe - thank you! 🥰 HCB - Yessss, I'm trying! 💗☺️😚 Katsolo - I'll definitely do that. Thank you! 💝 John10251 - thank you! 💖 Anne Estephanie - thank you for your concern 💕, this happens to me all the time but it got worse while in Mexico. I'm going to get a doctor's appointment and bring up what you mentioned, it really seems to match. Lourock1 - thank you for the list!! I'll try eating those 💞 SLYONE 22 - oh I love lemon juice. Thank you!🧡 Dazey is Healing - thank you!!! 💟 Kenna Morton - thank you!! 💛 I'm not monitoring my sodium intake, what should be the normal levels? I don't use salt to cook but I guess the food I eat has some Diana 1234 - thank you!!! 💜The appointments with thenutritionist are going great! My family say they see the difference which is so exciting. I didn't eat a lot of salt I think, but I didn't cook so who knows what everything had 😛. This happens all the time but it gets worse when I travel, maybe the heat plus not hydrating enough.
