This mornings weigh in came with two things - reluctance and surprise.
I was reluctant because last week was just a weird week - firstly I was travelling for two days for work, came back and then was directly on the road again for a long weekend in Germany for a friends wedding.

First trip was easy - no worries there.
Germany was more challenging - eating there was difficult. They seem to love to add carbs to everything - even my sausage had bits of potato grrr...
Saturday was the wedding and I decided to step of the wagon - I didn't fall - I decided to take a step off for the day.

So my Saturday was anything but low carb. My rule is that since 98% of the year I'm strictly LC the days that I go off I might as well go all the way. I consumed all the things that I normally wouldn't even go near - bread, cakes, etc etc. And to be honest - I enjoyed it... until it hit my digestive system. I was then consumed with pain and discomfort. My stomach was just not ready for hte wine, sugar and empty carbs.

I was expecting to see the scale massively jump up - but 800 grams is nothing to stress about at all. But the next 5 days will be all about back to basics and just eating clean. Goal is to keep both NC's and calories as low as possible to help my body clear the left over carbs and get back into ketosis. I will try to extend my fasting hours if possible. I think the fact that I did that over the weekend as well to counter the high carbs helped as well.

But I'm just glad that the weigh in was not nearly as bad as I had anticipated... :) Mondays mornings are hard enough :)
134.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 1.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
