Feeling good this morning. No headache today and not hungry. I am a little "backed up" so to speak. I've been eating MIMs to try to prevent that but I'm still adjusting.

That being said, my weight was up today. But I'm not upset about it since I'm so bloated! It'll pass.

Phone screening yesterday went a lot better than expected. The position sounds like it could be really interesting. It would require a lot more than just freeze drying fruits. They want someone to make "applications" for their products. So I could design anything from a bread to a trail mix to a mushroom sauce to a dry soup mix. Just about anything that you could put freeze dried fruits, veggies, cheeses, and yogurts into. Now on the other hand this position will require a lot of travel. Which is sweet, except for me wanting a dog and probably not seeing the boy a lot. The first two weeks would be training in England and I could also spend some time training in France and China. So... there's that. I'm very torn about the whole situation. But there's something like 4 more interviews (2 of which being technical) that I'd have to ace before worrying about what to do next.

In the meantime... if I do get offered a position at Post I still want it. I'm hoping to hear back from them today. Companies tend to run slow though so probably by Friday.

Happy Wednesday All!

Wow that position sounds great, it's alot to give up ...tough choice but living in England would be awesome. Good luck Karen on whatever you decide... freeze drying sounds so interesting , so futuristic....

Europe would definitely be an upside to everything. I have a couple of friends I've been dying to visit over there. They scheduled me for another phone screening tomorrow in the morning so we'll see how that one goes. Freeze drying is pretty cool; the basics are that you freeze the product, then decrease the atmospheric pressure around it, then raise the temperature. This way the ice in the product never goes to water but instead straight to steam. Makes for delicious strawberries!
