I'm frustrated...this fight with the scale wears me out. I gained 2.2 lbs, I don't get it! I think I'm gonna go on a scale fast...weigh at the end of the month, then not again until the end of July.
ok pitty party over, chin up...can't let this ruin my day or sabotage my healthy eating plans.

Hey Bebematte, There is a no scale challenge starting in about 20 hrs. I finished one about a month ago. It's an interesting experiment. It's called " The GOODBYE MY FRIEND no scales challenge" Best wishes!

that's what i've been doing. Not weighing myself for at least 4 weeks that way I don't see those little plateaus where you stay steady or gain a pound. I find that extremely discouraging and that's usually when i back track and give up. This time around I've been avoiding the scale. Started 7 weeks ago and only got on the scale once around week 5. Much more encouraging this way :)

Ive joined the no scale for a month challenge. I dont want to define myself by a number on ascale, that was my focus in the beginning and somehow i lost it. Maybe because peoplestarted asking me how much ive lost, i started seeing real changes in myself, huge changes! Lost a total of 53 lbs. A little over 10since being on this site. Countless inches! Im no longer in the morbidly obese category, I'm in the overweight category. I know that doesnt soind huge to some, but it is to me!! Anyways thanks for the encouragement, it means alot!!
