The cardboard standing desk arrived from the Kickstarter project I helped fund. It's still available at Chairigami but it now costs $10 more. I partially assembled it after some thrashing around because I'm not great with spatial relationships. My original idea was to put it in the kitchen where there's sometimes a nice breeze. But I had second thoughts about rain coming in the window and getting the cardboard or the laptop wet. I'm now thinking about putting it in the front room where there's a sealed window so no chance of stray moisture.

I was able to use the new dumbbell set yesterday - in particular the 20-pounder in the sumo squat. They don't take up that much room but I'm getting to the point where I could use a dumbbell rack. I'm going to have to clear out the bedroom before that happens. And it's probably going to be a while before I'm strong enough to justify getting another set.

I'm drinking pineapple-infused water to stay hydrated. I figure that's got to be better for me than anything with sugar in it. I'm thinking about switching from sugar to honey. I hear that's slower to metabolize.

156.7 lb Lost so far: 7.5 lb.    Still to go: 26.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Kickstarter is a great concept. We funded historical conquest last year (a game set up like magic the gathering but using our real life heros and legends- great for homeschooloing fun). Hope you like your standing desk =) I've been on a honey kick lately, I don't know much about pro vs cons of it, but it sure tastes better then sugar to me =)
