The scale is on the downward ride again! Praise God!! I have recalculated my daily caloric intake on here and instead of going down, as I thought it would being that I've lost so much weight, it went up to 2600! That can't be right...I played around with it some more and no matter what I did it said 2600. So I just ignore the RDI thing now. I know from using a different site, that my RDI is 1803...so I'm still king as close to that as possible. And watching salt too!!! So much to watch...lol. Last month the numbers on the scale barely budged, but I did lose a little over a pound, and I lost almost 4 in total. So the month was not a total wash! I'll take whatever I can get, I'm getting healthier, that's the major thing. Making wiser choices!!
Doctors apt Thursday, all was great, except blood still too thick...she increased warfarin again. Would explain these major headaches every stinking day!!! But I don't allow them to push me into the bed. That's a risky move, lying around...clots form quickly. Good thing I'm on the move all the time, except when I sleep. And sometimes I wake feeling like I've run a marathon...lol.

Anyways be blessed!!!

I was on Warfarin for a couple of years after having a pulmonary embolism. I remember you have to watch eating certain foods that could throw off the effects of the drug. I think it was Leafy Green Vegetables and vegetable oils. It's not that you can't eat them, you just have to be consistent in how much per day you eat. You also have to stay away from Grapefruit and cranberry juice. Check with your doctor or pharmacy on this, because it's been a couple of years since I took it. Your right about the RDI thing. My RDI was supposed to be 3100. I set it at 2000, and shoot for 1200 (Don't hit 2000 too often) but I try my hardest to stay under 2000. Two months on this site the one thing I've learned is EVERYONE seems to get stuck on very little or no weight loss even when they stick to their diet and exercise. I've also learned that if you hang in there through these times, the scale begins to move down again. So hang in there and continue to make those wise choices.

Chillie Willie, I've been on Warfarin for many years, and know all to well about those pesky veggies...lol. I do however eat them...just eat the same amount daily...I have whats known as sticky blood. They cannot figure out why all of a sudden my blood just became too thick, my heart struggled to pump it, tbey couldnt draw it to even test it. But I just try my hardest to stay above the numbers...because of this oddity...I eat very little beef. Funny huh? I lost the enzymes to process it, you get Vitamin B from beef. My Vitamin B was wiped out at the same time as i becam thick blooded...guess what happens when your Vitamin B's are wiped out??? your blood thickens...lol. So am on suplements, was on shots for it for awhile, but no longer. But tbick blood is a constant issue, as well as sugar...But I am a fighter...Getting healthier is my goal...Thank You for you support and encouragement!! Thanks to everyone!!! That is one of the things I love about tbis site
