That is fantastic! Do you have any tips to share as a man on Weight Watchers? My hubby is finally deciding this week to join me on this journey. It took him 7 months to make the decision, but he had to make that decision for himself. I am trying to be a supportive non nagging wife, because I have learned that no one can lose weight for you. I hope he can be as successful as you have been.

Unfortunately, this site stopped tracking WW points some time ago. I have taken what weight watchers teaches and kind of molded it into my own system. I try to stay between 1200 and 1500 calories and eat foods high in fiber such as fruits, vegetables, whole wheat, and unsaturated fats. I don't really "limit" what foods I eat but I do try to stay inside a certain calorie range. Sometimes I go over but as long as you mostly stay in that range you will lose weight. The next leg of my journey will have to do with being more active. I am not currently very active. I spend most of my time on the computer or reading. If I were a but more active there would have been a lot more progress.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Tell him NOT to weigh himself every day. Do it weekly at most. Weight loss isn't linear and there is no guarantee that eating a healthy dinner will turn into a pound lost in the morning. Everything you eat, everything you drink, the clothes you wear, the items in your pocket, and even the moisture in the air can effect your current weight. If you do it weekly it will be more linear. If you do it daily it will be a jagged line that arcs downwards. Seeing your weight peak after hitting a new low can be a death sentence for a diet plan!

Good advice from a man's perspective. As for me, I weigh every single day. Actually sometimes more than once a day. I am obsessive compulsive and I do need to see the scale every day! It is probably a woman thing! You can still get weight watchers points on this site. I use them every day. I will get the directions and post them for you.

A kind soul created a firefox add-on that will restore your points column on your fatsecret food journal page (on-line only). Simply click the below link and go to PAGE 1, follow the instructions, be sure fat, fiber and calories are your columns and all will be as it was before. If you use the mobile version, you can still keep you food diary on your device (tracking cals, fat, fiber), when you sync with your on-line profile and log-in online you can see how you are doing point wise. http://fatsecret.com/Community.aspx?pa=fp&m=128554
