Cake again at work! Birthdays...... so silly. J/K but I did manage to snag myself a piece that was NOT the huge one they normally give me. I swear, and this is going to sound all sorts of ridiculous, that the woman that dishes cake makes sure to give me big pieces. She always gives herself ones that are about half that size. Why would I want the jumbo slice?? Anyway, if that's my biggest problem today then I'd say my day is going fantastic.
KoRn, Disturbed, and Sevendust concert tomorrow. I'll probably make it a cheat day since we're going to have dinner with my brother at a place that apparently has "good beer." I'm alright excited about the concert. I'm not 16 anymore listening to them in my parents house but I still do love a good KoRn rock out. I don't know if it can top Bobaflex last weekend.

Mmmm cake! I wish it were someone's birthday here today...I know all about the crazies who insist on giving out large portions and barely taking anything for themselves--on Tuesday the nutter in my office bought a box of mini donuts, she took one, gave everyone in the office two, and handed me three for some reason. Sabotagers! Teehee I didn't know KoRn was still putting stuff out...too funny, I was singing Falling Away from Me yesterday. I wish my computer here had speakers so I could figure out what Bobaflex is...Rock on at your concert, Chica!

My friends know that I am watching my weight and trying to eat clean. One of my friends has particularly talked about how she can see the weight I've lost. So while we are celebrating someone's birthday, she PURPOSELY handed me the first slice and demanded that I eat it! So watch out, those saboteurs are out there! Stay strong.

Tubbs - KoRn just put out a new album last year maybe? I don't know. I lost track after their second untitled album.... haha Totally find a way to listen to Bobaflex, they are so much fun.
Astraea - People are so crazy when it comes to making others eat! I used to hate going to the bar with people because after they'd always want to get food and I'm never hungry with a stomach full of beer. But everyone freaks out if you don't eat something with the group. ECK, same way at office parties.
Pixi - They are pretty great in concert. I'm not as excited as I should be but I think that's because I really like smaller shows now. I just want to be right up interacting with the band.

Korn III was released last year, and the untitled was in 2007. Korn III is the best album they released since Follow the Leader imo. Bobaflex=total awesomness, and if you haven't heard them yet you do not know what you are missing! I LOVE the smaller shows, but I usually end up going to the bigger ones with my youngest brother who is so into music and everything about it he makes the larger shows awesome.

Ah I love that you know Bobaflex! They're my not-so-new obsession. Cuz they're fantastic on stage and hilarious off stage. Large shows are still fun but it takes so much energy lol. I end up at them sometimes just to catch bands on my "must see" list.

LOL I listen to a lot of lesser known bands actually, because they tend to put out the best music. Bobaflex was introduced to me by my brother a couple of years ago... I don;t know if you have heard of this one bu mcchris is really good too he is hilarious... and puts on an amazing show live, if you watch adult swim he is the voice behind mc pee pants on ATHF lol

Hmmm I haven't heard of bu mcchris. But I don't watch AquaTeam either though, so I have no idea who mc pee pants is. I'll definitely check him out though

that should just be mcchris... he sounds like he is 10 but he is like 30something... super funny, kind of rappy (which isnt my thing but he makes me giggle)
