I am one month into my lifestyle change, and I feel wonderful! I will feel even better when a good amount of weight is gone. I will be so glad to be more agile again, and be able to sit on the ground without a big ordeal to get on my feet.

I am managing to go to the gym almost every morning, I don't have a bunch of work lined up right now but there are so many projects to get done at the house I am actually grateful for a little down time.

I got a new grill for my birthday, it's beautiful and will be used frequently, it's a good way to make low fat, tasty food. I need to get a veggie basket for it.

I am following my eating plan 100%, I know how to cook the healthy way and along with all of the knowledge I have gained from Ellen and other good sources I am well on my way to a healthier me. Allen and Barbara will benefit as well but they need to make some other changes on their own.

I am over two weeks into my abstinance from alcohol, I will have a couple GOOD beers on my birthday and then I think I will put in a hold until Memorial Day weekend. Empty calories!!! I missed it at first but now I don't even think much about it. Not bringing it into the house helps a lot.

No meeting with Erin yesterday, she called me to cancel since she was sick. She sounded terrible on the phone. Too much spring break perhaps! Anyway we will meet next week at our normal time unless they squeeze me in tomorrow. I really look forward to our sessions but it's been rough at times. It's all for the good though, I am truly a person being reborn in body, mind and spirit. I have rediscovered my spirituality (Nomad, Brant and Bill are awesome), my confidence is growing (a work in progress), my mental state is a lot more peaceful, and my health and fitness is greatly improved. I will have a good doctor visit next month!
