euheide's Journal, 29 March 2014

This weight is equivalent to my recent best but I weighed the same yesterday lol, which is great since it would usually go up. :)

Inaccurate body fat percentage from body composition scale: 8.5 % (average among recent results)

Inaccurate waist measurement across navel: 80.3 cm (as long as it doesn't go up! lol)

I have eaten too much in a single meal, again, yesterday. I cooked two beef steaks in the oven and the plan was to eat one and save the other one for later, but it tasted so good that I just didn't resist eating the other one right afterwards. But it's looking like, despite my very recent slips, my exercise regimen is cushioning the consequences... (I hope) lol.

Gonna exercise right now. The fact that it's now a daily routine really helps me stay on track with it.

edit: In the next 24 days, I will be focusing particularly on abs. I was just invited to participate in the Brazen Fit 24-days Ab Challenge :) Since I'm doing daily calisthenics, this will fit well into the routine and I'm doing this because I'm genuinely curious as to whether specific insistence on the abs have a special effect on belly reduction :) I'm looking forward for this. I will be posting the nº of repetitions on my daily journal from tomorrow on :) Here's the training plan to anyone who's interested ;) http://tinyurl.com/o2r4tas

Euheide, why do you use the word "inaccurate" when you measure? Just curious.

That's definitely awesome iamachristianjesusfreak! :) Let's see if it holds though lol

@ Deb - When it comes to the body fat percentage reading, that machine is highly inaccurate (it even reads water as fat lol). The reason why I also add "inaccurate" to the waist measurement is that, at least at first, I always got wildly different readings and, despite now having much more constant results, the reading will still vary wildly depending on how much I stretch the tape (I use an Ikea tape heheh) around my waist and also on my breathing and position of the tape, although I have to admit that, lately, it has been easier, with practice, to always measure "almost" in the same way from day to day. I try to completely relax my belly, not to stretch the tape beyond the point where it's contacting the waist in all positions and I try to breathe out when measuring. But I have the feeling that, if a professional took the measure, that it would be different. This is why I prefer to keep that reading as inaccurate because I'm not sure if I'm measuring it exactly right ;)

Thanks Calyn! I can't wait for that moment when I start seeing my six pack. It might still be far away though. That's one of the reasons I'm participating in this challenge heheh :) You never know. It might actually produce unexpected results! I will post the number of reps every day (which will be exactly the same as the ones on the link) I'm doing this exactly as the challenge says heheheh ;) Thanks!

Thanks for explaining that, Euheide! I'm sure you are doing just fine. Your positive attitude makes all the difference!

Thank you very much Deb! Yeah positive is the only way to go! heheh. We need to believe, or better yet, we need to know it's doable! That definitely makes things much easier! :)
