zebdavison's Journal, 20 February 2014

I am down again, but not a huge amount, and that is good. Day 6 of "low-grade LCHF" was a success, if perhaps a misguided one. Misguided in the sense that I'm not really doing LCHF properly, which likely robs it of a lot of the potential benefits. And the loss I'm experiencing might be simply due to my increased caloric deficit.

Honestly, I don't know that I'd want to do LCHF properly - I enjoy too many things that are "bad" for me. That said, on my half-assed version of LCHF, my 7-day average weight is now over a pound below my 28-day average. That is notable because I haven't seen that large a gap since I was in the midst of a 25-pound loss. It will truly be notable if I can keep it over 0.5# for a week. In that case, I might bump up my commitment to LCHF to "mid-grade" :).
