Yesterday I couldn't stop snacking. Carbs aside, I did pretty good on the macros, finishing with a nice calorie deficit. Today's loss is fluid. I'm probably looking at another loss tomorrow, and then the pendulum will swing back the other way.

I've been reviewing my numbers over the past few months. The weight loss has pretty much stalled out, which is... disappointing, a little bit. However, my waistline has slowly and steadily been declining. So I have to remind myself that the total weight number is not the one I should care about - the fat amount is what I want to reduce, and it seems that I am still being successful in that regard.

Eight months ago, after having dropped 20 pounds, I weighed 189#, but 40 of that was fat! Today, at essentially the same weight, I have less than 30 pounds of fat. So the scale doesn't tell you everything! Unless you've got a fancy one :). The point is, don't let your weight number be the be-all end-all number that defines your success or failure!
