So good news and bad news.........bad news is the weight is still up a tad, but the good news (and the reason for the increase) is poker last night I won yippeeeeee. knowing I had poker I did fast up until the evening, but then pizza and three rather large bourbons.........oh and I couldn't resist one piece of garlic bread TSK TSK TSK LOL. Really great night tho a late night and work today before.......guess what....another poker game tonight. the stars have aligned so that the two games I play a month usually 8 days apart have coincided so that its alternate nights. What with that and dinner and rock show (Ian Moss)tomorrow night; come Thursday at work my eyes will be blood red and hanging out of my head. life is good and my diet/lifestyle can handle a little excess now and again. Wish me luck for tonight....can I win two nights on the trot? watch this space........

hi M2B, the game is Texas Hold'em, which I love, and yes had a win again woohooooo. Not as big a win as the night before it has to be said, in fact a very moderate one, but any win is a good win - and sure beats the alternative doesn't it? Diet wise no change on the scales this morning, so that's another win. Tonight yet another late night before. Thursday will be my next full fast day and get back on track for the weekend. Ultimately that's the absolute best thing about IF, and a 5:2 in particular - its so flexible. Thx for showing an interest Sandy

Woo Hoo! You won again? That's awesome! :) My son loves Texas Hold' em. He will go and play in tournaments sometimes. He came in second the last one he played. I did about 600 calories yesterday and it wasn't any fun but then I am also doing the 16:8. I think doing them both together is too much. I think I threw myself into starvation mode. Anyway, I hope you keep on losing. You have been doing so well. Get some rest. Ha Ha!

I agree with you, I think doing both plans together is not a good idea love, take it easy on yourself. A good steady weight loss is far better for you than any sort of 'crash' dieting. Take it easy on yourself, either the 16:8 or 5:2 both are good plans, try one for a month and see how you go, you can always tweak as you need to later :)

Thank you! I need to hear that. :) Just need to move around a bit more and not "diet" more. What was I thinking? I will stick to the 16:8 as it seems to be easier for me to do for now. Hope you aren't too tired at work today. ;)
