Weight remained the same which kind of surprised me given all my experiments with carbs and eating patterns. I slept well again. It is too early to come to conclusions, I need more time to see if it is a pattern but may be carb load at 10 PM really works. This goes against my practically religious believes that you cannot eat late in the evening, and definetely not carbs, that were instilled in me during my childhood by well meaning mom and grandma (who were also insomniacs - who knows may be that was the cause) and by my coaches. Anyway as I guessed, if I sleep better, I have more energy during the day and move around more and it obviously burns more calories even without exercise. I am still struggling with eating just 3 meals and getting enough calories and protein into each of them to last me till another one without a snack. It makes me more aware how my hypoglycemia affected my eating. I always overeat or eat in advance, or plan for another meal when I am still not hungry, because I am afraid of a blood sugar drop. And it does not even happen that often.

I am not planning for any weight loss for next week. I am more interested in improving my sleeping and keeping my energy levels high.

We had a nice walk in the park yesterday. I also cooked a lot. I have another day off today. Life is good.
173.5 lb Lost so far: 24.5 lb.    Still to go: 19.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
