And so begins the descent... again. I'm still annoyed at the 5-pound bump of a few days ago, but I'm slowly getting things back in line.

I have a little point system that tells me how I'm doing on hitting my targets. It's a nice summary number to indicate my overall performance, but it hasn't proved to be predictive in any way. However - and this is important - trying to get that number higher and higher keeps me both interested and distracted. It is kind of fun to try and push that number up, and thus, I'm distracted from (or motivated to ignore) the occasional cravings for things like cheesecake... mmmm.... delicious cheesecake....
Focus... focus!

Yesterday was an all-time high for points - I was close to both fat and carb targets, and I nailed my protein! And I had a great calorie deficit! Sodium was at a two-week low, which isn't part of my score, but definitely needs to be lower.
188.2 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 18.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
