Holding steady, which is nice. I didn't really eat good yesterday. Lots of fat! Like double my average intake! But, I hit my protein number, and kept my carbs to their average. I was on my feet a lot more than usual (I'm on holiday this week, so no desk job), and I worked out. So I had a calorie surplus, but only a small one. Net result: no change in weight.

It's Christmas Eve and tonight there will be a small party at my house for friends and family. I look forward to this every year - it's my favorite part of Christmas, I think. Unfortunately, I'm sick. We'll see how good I feel later. I will cowboy up if I think I can without getting others sick.

I'm dreading the Christmas party I'm supposed to go to...I hate facing the food challenges.

Yeah, you definitely have to have a plan going in. You need to decide what you're going to allow yourself to eat ahead of time. Since the party is at my house, I have a pretty good idea what's going to be served (aside from some desserts and drinks), so I can map out what I'm going to do, and that's what I did. I did okay on the food, but I had to eat too much to get to my protein target, which gave me a small calorie surplus on the day. Not bad, all in all.
