I had been so meticulous on what I put in my mouth lately. I had been trying to cut back and do smaller portions. That has been hard to do. I've been so focused on my exercise lately too. I got my 2 hours of working out done today. It was leg day. I've been trying. It isn't what I am used to but I am doing it to get healthy, (and to fit into smaller clothes).

Just take your time and don't do too much or try to hurry it along. You're doing good

Morgan Stuart— when your stomach is used to being overstretched all the time it literally does not recognize the concept of what it means to be full. That can take quite a while to relearn, meanwhile you feel hungry and not satiated. That is also an issue that many people who do the OMAD program run into. They are trying to shove a whole day’s worth of calories into a fairly narrow eating window so for some it perpetuates that uncomfortably full sensation in order to register FULL.

Bad habits, like eating huge portions, are something almost everyone on FS is guilty of from their past. It takes practice over time to get used to eating normal sized portions. Just keep cutting -- your stomach will shrink and it will get easier. Whether you approach this super slow or drastically and urgently depends on what your doctor is telling you, and whether they've predicted anything serious like heart attack, stroke, or diabetes episodes. That kind of news always speeds up my commitment to health ASAP.

Add a little extra lean protein might help. Personally, for me, I eat more HCLF so I always have cooked potatoes 🥔 in my fridge. It’s amazing how filling a 100 calorie potato can be.
