Hi all - Day 2 of a my first 6 day fast. Normally I would try a 5 day fast but I have my second coronavirus shot on Friday so I want to fast for a day after that so I'm stretching it to 6 days if I can. The longest I've ever done is 3 days. My goal for the month is 281.2. A lot of times people don't lose anything on long fasts or if they do they gain it right back when they eat something. I am doing it to lower my blood sugar and for autophagy, not necessarily weight loss. But I will take what weight loss I can get!

283.2 lb Lost so far: 68.8 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Great job resolving to double your previous fasting time. I just learned about autophagy, and it is fascinating that our bodies can break down and dispose of old, non-functioning cells. I want to get rid of as many of those as possible! May you have great success!
