I ate a gigantic, horrible, delicious burger at Red Robin yesterday - half my calories, almost, and a lot of fat. But it was good. Lunch with my best friend, who I don't see often enough. In spite of my transgression, I managed to make the day not as horrible, diet-wise, as it could have been (though I think the numbers in the database for that burger are off), and I even ended up down a bit today, in weight. Sweet!

Today, I'm trying to decide whether to continue my current plan or go in a slightly different direction. My current goals are to get my macros into balance (60/20/20-ish) and increase my muscle through weightlifting (I'm still doing cardio, of course). I believe that if I really tighten up my eating habits, without focusing on restricting my calorie intake, the end result will be some weight loss, but, more importantly, a lowered body fat percentage. However, I really do want to see the weight drop some more. I've been stuck in this range for a while now. Nevertheless, I like the improvements to my strength - that's been fun, setting new personal bests almost every week (beginners make the most gains :)). I should probably have taken a picture of myself once a month or so, so I could see the changes. Glad I got the before shot... as embarrassing as it is. I've talked myself into another couple weeks of the macro-balancing/strength-training plan. If I can't get my diet into line by then, I'll have to consider going back to a more aggressive weight-loss plan.
