My daughter swears by Michel Mosley’s Intermittent Fasting. I am a bit old school and am basically following Bill Phillips Back To Fit program which includes a higher protein eating plan and demands daily strength training.
But, I have incorporated one fast day every Wednesday into my nutrition plan, however also a ‘blowout’ day every Sunday to confuse my metabolism and stopping my body from going into starvation mode. I am counting calories but my daily limit is set at 1500, so lots of flexibility. On Sunday I’ve set it at 2000 calories.
