Sounds like a good plan!! As long as you get back to healthy eating a binge now and then won't kill you. It's a life change not a diet!! Looks like you're still doing well on your journey!

thank you for commenting, Nenaholt. I'm maintaining for the umpteenth time. The difference this time around is that I don't see a screw-up as a complete failure, or even as a setback, just seeing it for what it is, just a bit of bad behavior. So it's a lot easier to get back to good behavior, even if the bad behavior runs for a few days. But, having said that, I still have to learn some better strategies to control binges.

I wouldn't even look at it as bad behavior...I would approach it as life happens that was then this is now. As long as 80% of your eating is healthy and clean you will be successful and keep going in the correct direction. One thing I have found is that the more negative things I tell myself the worse things get so I stop and tell myself postive things when that starts to happen and I think of all the good things in my life...my health, my family, I'm alive, etc. and then I go do something to get my mind off of me and food. It is also very good to write down what thoughts you are having and what is happening when you are having a moment of weakness and then go back a couple of days later and read over it because you will be amazed how much clarity you will find and you will be able to have a better strategy to deal with it the next time it happens. You can do this and YOU ARE WORTH IT!!
