Fledgist's Journal, 16 June 2013

On Thursday I had surgery to remove a growth in my throat. The IV fluids they dripped into me filled me up with water so my weight is back up. I'm slowly seeing it come back down, but having it four pounds higher at the start of the next week than it was at the middle of the week before, when I've been strictly following my diet is not the most encouraging of things. Still, this is a minor setback.
177.0 lb Lost so far: 160.0 lb.    Still to go: 9.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I am so sorry, to hear that you have had to have, another op. speedy recovery for you x. At least you know the weight gain is caused by fluid.... You have been there before and conquered it. Don't be downhearted :-)

Thanks for the good thoughts. Dealing with the consequences of middle age is not too much fun, but I'm getting through it. Sounding like a constipated frog is not the worst thing I've ever had to deal with.
