I just have to keep reminding myself that I eat low carb because it cured my IBS/GERD and not necessarily for weight loss. My body is a very efficient fat storing organism. *sigh* I blame my maternal grandmother for bringing a "fat gene" into the line. Unfortunately, I inherited it.
