Written on April1,2019, a retrospective: This was my weight when I started minding and slowly adjusting my food intake. Somedays have been wonderful and easy reductions and others were miserable and guilty failures. In this time I have learned to keep food/ snacks out of my range of vision. If I don't see it, I often do not think of it and therefore am not tempted. It makes a huge difference in my struggle for control of my eating misbehaviour.
From this date to the date of my entry I have dropped 8.6 lb. This amazes me in that I did this in spite of Christmas eating. Also, I have less and less mobility due to arthritis (I am barely ambulatory) and also the restrictions due to the Covid19 pandemic. I started using this program yesterday, March 31, 2020, and wanted to make this record reflect all my efforts in this change of thinking.This brief note brings my story up to date.
212.6 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 42.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
