I was a good girl yesterday and made good choices at family dinner. Was tough but thankfully, the lap band made me feel full after not much. Just started understanding how it really works on my body. I used to chew real slow but eat fast which I thought is what I needed to do, but it would only result in me feeling way too full. But i figured it out! The trick is to chew slowly anddddd eat slowly! so I talk, put everything down, take my time and I end up not eating that much but still getting the good kind of full-not balloon popping full. It takes 20 minutes for the stomach to communicate to the brain that it's full so this makes complete sense, good tip to feel satiated. We often listen to our head more than our bodies which is such a big mistake. I used to keep eating after I was full thinking ohh this is soo good, I ant be full after three bites! big mistake we need to start listening to our bodies objectively. Anyways, this morning I have lost 100 grams, not much but at least it represents a descent which im happy about!:) I'll be out of technical obesity( according to my BMI) at 78! cant wait!! today im off for a walk with family then eating out, this encourages me to make good choices! have a lovely day! xx
