so frustrated, I hate weekends when it comes to this stuff, I did not eat junk bit I didn't keep my regular eating pattern either, I did not drink a lot a few drinks with the neighbours on Saturday afternoon and a few glasses of wine with the hubby but over the course of the weekend really not much and it's the first time in a month we've had anything because we participated in Dry Feb so I was actually proud at how controlled we were AND I worked out at the gym on Saturday and did a 1 hour walk yesterday

scale shows I gained weight... it's mornings like this I want to say #$@!-$ it... But instead I'll just work to lose what I've already lost again....


173.2 lb Lost so far: 18.2 lb.    Still to go: 23.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I know it’s frustrating, but in the end your future self will thank you for sticking with it. I’m a big fan of limiting drinking for multiple reasons, but if you’re going to drink it can help knowing that calorie count. Unfortunately there are no nutritional labels on wine and there’s a vast difference. First I’d use water to pour yourself a normal glass of wine. Then dump it into a measuring glass to see what the volume actually is. If you have different glass types, try for each. It’s amazing how it can vary. And wines themselves differ widely based on sweetness and alcohol content. Bring your phone and track every bite. When I drink I absolutely and mindlessly nibble on a lot more food than I would without alcohol in my system. It’s just habit and decreased inhibition. A dangerous combination :)
