OOOKK... I have to VENT!!!! I worked my butt off this week.. I ate better, stepped up my excercise and I GAINED!!???!

I honestly have noo idea! Am I missing something? Water intake? Ohh...Help!
226.2 lb Lost so far: 13.8 lb.    Still to go: 76.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 1.8 lb a week

that sux! happens to me often as well, suggestions... maybe water as yr muscles need extra when exercising, maybe a change of exercise? for a couple of days try something different from normal, sometimes when ive gone a couple of days with no exercise i can lose?! so try just doing something different for a couple of days n see what happens, im no expert but i know what it feels like when youre workin yr butt off for no result!

Are your muscles sore? Even if they aren't they are probably holding water. This happens because when you overload the body (which is what exercise does, and it's good)you cause microscopic tears in the muscle fibers, to help these heal your body sends in everything it needs, so some swelling and weight gain from the fluid is expected, but it will subside. These micro tears are good, because your body will then build the muscle fibers back stronger. So keep exercising, you can do it, it's all about losing the fat not necessarily the weight.
