i am losing sooo slowly! Lucky I am noticing a difference with my clothes but thinking of changing diets to one where I can have yoghert and fruit more and less meat and protein. Meat is really turning me off. Never used to eat much and this is difficult. Trouble is I am so familiar with this now and have to learn another. The gym I am going to has a weight watchers type one they will support me with but I never lost weight on that before. Pretty much this is the only diet i have lost weight on so another part of me says to stick to it even thought it is so slow.
Am working out 4-5 times a week and walking as well.
Still no noticable loss. 1 lb in 2 weeks sucks.
236.0 lb Lost so far: 18.0 lb.    Still to go: 93.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I did weight watchers twice, the first time i jacked it in after a week because i was hungry all the time, that was 11 years ago. When i did it the second time it was lots better. They had a much better way of working out how many point you can have. I lost 35lb that time. I wished i had stayed on it, i loved earning the extra points! Atkins is suiting me very well at the moment, but i understand that it can be a bit meaty sometimes. Do what ever you think is best, remember, you can still use this site whatever diet you are on. And of course we would still be fatsecret buddies! Good luck in which ever diet you continue to do :)

You are doing very well. Loosing weight slowly is the way to go. You will be less likely to pack it right back on when you loose it slowly like you are. try having a meal a week where you have that yogurt if ya want it and some fruit. After you loose so much weight... you can do that once in a while and it shouldnt hurt you. Maybe give it a try and see if that will help you. But I agree... if Weight watchers or something else works for you and you can handle the portion control, then by all means do what you think is best for your body. And we will still all be here for ya!! :) You are a sweet lady and I would most definitely be there for ya regardless of the kind of diet you choose to be on. :) Good luck!!!

oh... and I starved when doing WW too! I was doing that before christmas and I just cant do it. Too many empty calories for me. I need to feel full when I get up from the dinner table. :) But i'm a healthy eater who hates to snack, so mini meals is really a hard thing for me. :) we will be here no matter what you do, so keep us posted!
