All I did was portion control and few fun things yesterday and my weight is dropping. Found a buddy in San Francisco to join me and we each bought the book "Sugar Shock". Here was the plan yesterday: Treat myself with [my 3 favorite fruits]...a ripe peach, black cherries and a ruby red grapefruit. I love those fruits. And savor the bites of each. Wow I didn't mindlessly eat cherries... I tasted each one. Drink 8 oz water every hour for 8 hours (OMG I never got out of the ladies room but I don't care!) and I wrote 20 ways sugar hurts me:
I eat too much because I keep wanting it and can’t stop Makes me feel depressed Keeps me hungry Ages my skin Costs money Makes me unable to say no Keeps the cycle going even when Im trying to stop Is NOT my friend at all. Wolf in sheeps clothing Causes cellulite All this weight gain is from sugar I worked so hard to get where I was and then sugar took away my success Keeps me hiding Makes me ashamed Have to wear sweat pants not my skinny jeans Really fucks up my skin I know it’s harming my inner organs even if I can’t see them Makes me think about it… I don’t want to think about it Reminds me that I’m an addict and I don’t always want to be reminded about that Makes me manipulate food Makes me fucking crazy

Elevates your bad cholesterol, and triglycerides. Leads to diabetes and gout.
If you are concerned about how your skin looks, once you beat back the sugar monster, check out Wheat Belly by Dr. Davis. I listened to his podcast on Jimmy Moore's site yesterday, and he was talking about what a huge difference eliminating wheat had on people's appearance...not just their health! His patient's faces were less puffy looking, and their skin looked much clearer and brighter.
Good luck! Tackle one monster at a time. The first two weeks are a killer, but once you get over that, it is much, much easier.
