Hhmm, well I'm not putting too much emphasis on using lbs lost as my success, I measured myself when I started and I'll remeasure at the end of the month and hopefully some inches fell off somewhere. I know it could be water, building muscle (I Hope) or just got a little sloppy on fri and sat food choices. I'm just gonna keep on moving....
215.5 lb Lost so far: 9.5 lb.    Still to go: 55.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

The scale is good for keeping my focus on losing; however, I have to agree that your true measure is in seeing the inches disappear.

I promised myself when I started this that I would not hover over the scale and let it set the mood for my attitude of the week. Too many times I have gotten discouraged when the needle pointed everywhere but were I wanted it to, then I would get off track and comfort eat. No more of that viscous cycle. It takes time to build muscle and lose fat is what I keep telling myself.
