1.6 lbs this past week is slower than I have been but also a healthier rate according to professionals.
After meeting with a nutritionist and my fitness trainer who also does sports nutrition, my calorie intake has been increased to slow the weight loss such that my body doesn’t go into starvation / save mode. Or at least that is what we are trying to prevent.
How I lost so much so quick was definitely related to what I can only describe as an immediate and abrupt shift I made to watch carefully what food I was putting into my body, and immediately but gradually increasing my physical activity.
