I'm stuck at 49.6 and I want to be down 50 pounds more than anything. These last 10 have been tougher than the first 40 sure. I've still got 40 more to go but I know I can do it. I've started to exercise more and I actually feel emotionally crappy when I skip a day. I can't wait until I can play golf and take walks with my family in the warmer weather. Traveling sucks too. I'm in Maine today so I had to have a lobster. Did pretty well, only dipped in butter three times and only ate 1/2 my baked potato.
It's times like that, when you're tempted with sour cream and a vat of melted butter, and you barely touch it, when you realize that this thing is really working.
Sure, the clothes are hanging off me and I feel better than I ever have, but I can now actually turn away foods that I used to devour. Amazing.
316.0 lb Lost so far: 49.8 lb.    Still to go: 71.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

That is great. Yes it is frustrating for it to go so slow....I can totally relate to that. I am still working on that turning food away thing.......I think it will take me another year or two. The only think I really do not like about this plan is that it forces you to eat all the food every day. Would not mind if you could save up some portions for other days......but oh well. Traveling with this plan is hard but do-able. The social occasions are the worst in my opinion when other people eat what you would like to eat and they keep trying to sabotage you by offering it to you.
