8 days since my last weigh in and I am NOT getting on that scale! Terrible! Terrible! started with inservice at work and pot luck lunch. Then we had a neighborhood get together here and more pot luck and continuous eating... now it's fat tuesday! and it's just that! FAT TUESDAY! ugh!!! Tomorrow starts Lent and I'm back on the wagon! I hate that I've done SO well for weeks and i ruin it in a matter of days! will weigh in on Friday and see if I've made up for my slaking.

My work has potlucks weekly, and I don't mean 5-6 people bring a cooked dish. I'm talking about 25-30 people. I tend to bring a salad for each potluck, only fill my plate with the healthiest stuff (about 1/3 of all potluck food) and never get pastries, dessert or chips. That's the only way to do it at a potluck or simply do not participate, make up an excuse. Like I brought my own lunch and I really need to stick to my health plan. People won't say anything to u if u say 'health plan', but if u say diet, they will.
