This website is providing a great deal of help. I had no idea that I was consuming so many carbs. I thought cheese had no carbs, but it really is adding up. I will definitely have to cut back on it.

I also need to revise the chili recipe and see if I have all of the portions correct. There maybe a way to lower the amount of carbs in that as well.

Also, as I go along, I plan to increase the amount of exercise I am doing.

if you like to cook I highly recommend the Atkins for life low-carb cookbook, I use it all the time or look up Low-carb recipes on-line I have had great luck finding new and easy things to cook so I don't get bored with the food I'm eating all the time, good luck

Thanks! I am always looking for new recipes. This is a great diet, but you do get bored with plain meats and vegetables all the time.
