Starting up the path to a healthier me. Trying to work on the internal and external. Looking to remove stress, organizing thoughts, identifying passions, manage what I put into and how I respect my body, build relationships, get involved in community activities, sharing what I know, learning more myself. Any number of things.

Right now I'm the classic ex-athlete who put on way too much weight and being a black man I know my risks are REAL and it's time take that seriously. I want to have kids and see my grand-kids and that's not going to happen if I remain passive about managing my life.

I love to cook and have had some people tell me I'm pretty good at it. That puts one of the biggest obstacles, what and how I eat, squarely in my hands.

I'm not active right now so the first habit I want to form is getting at least 30 minutes of exercise a day for 30 days. I've had the excuse of not having time but as I make time daily I know I will get a great return on that in the long run.
