My foot has been hurting me for several months, on and off, but mostly on. Made an appointment to see a podiatrist on 10/6. Till then I am taking it easy on the foot, but going to try to do weights, core work, just things where I'm not putting too much weight on it.
Trying a new motivation technique. I wrote out a lot of reasons why I want to lose weight or get in shape and am putting them on index cards. I'm going to put the cards around the house so I see them. My main problem is hitting snooze in the morning and not working out and I never have time to workout in the evening. I'm going to put a card by my alarm so I encourage myself when I lean over to hit snooze to instead get up and go workout!

I have the same exact issue...I need an alarm clock without a snooze...starting next week, going to try to get up at the same time I have to to start the new job. up at 6, work out, shower by 645 and leave the house by 820. this is after a year and half of sleeping till 8 or so and then slowly working my way into the day. Good luck and lets keep each other accountable...
