Rowanfair's Journal, 30 August 2011

So the other day I was in Whole Foods and was very surprised to see a low carb tortilla on offer. Hmm, Sonoma it says. I read the ingredients and went "wow, that is a lot of soy", but I bought it to try out. Turns out it is the "organic" brand from La Tortilla Factory and has pretty much the same things as the LTF Garlic Herb Tortillas I have found before. And they are just as tasteless. But this bring me to a dilemma... I read the ingredients of the Mission Carb Balance tortillas that I actually like. *wails* And their ingredients are WORSE! Powdered Cellulose isn't even food! Hydrogenated Soybean Oil! Waaah!

So do I eat the cardboard-like healthier version or eat the fake food version or *sob* give up tortillas altogether. I really didn't mind giving up bread but dang, life without tortillas once I found out there were "legal" ones is different
