I had a couple of friends over to see Porgy & Bess this afternoon. I had bought cheese and stuff and totally forgot crackers. So I made some and they weren't too bad. Flax and almond meal with some Parmesan and garlic powder ... Hardly any carbs! Will definitely add those to my food choices.

The show was amazing they had filmed the cast of a production of the opera in England and it was very theatrical rather than naturalistic with wonderful singers and great production values. It was a holiday gift but I had promised friends we'd watch it together and I have been too sick for it. One friend missed it today with a last minute work thing. But I just couldn't postpone. I'll happily watch it again. I grew up with a Harry Belafonte & Lena Horne album doing songs from it and I love the music.

The crackers were much better than I imagined they could be. I am definitely going to make crackers and experiment with different flavourings.
