It has been an interesting journey. I saw my doctor on June 23rd and he told me to try and lose some weight. I have been agonizing for years to try and lose weight to no avail. For weeks prior to my doctors visit, I would read about the product "ALMASED" in the daily Metro newspaper wondering if it was another diet scam but the more I investigated it, the more interested I became. After leaving the doctors office I decided to start a summer project. It was easier to look at losing weight as a "project" than a diet. So on June 30th I started the Almased shakes as per directions as well as walking 30 minutes a day. The results of my "project" have been overwhelming, surpassing my wildest expectations. My goal was 30 lbs before my next doctors visit. I see him again on August 25th so I have 21 days to lose 5 lbs. I believe I will finish my project successfully.

I am not an advocate or sales representative for ALMASED but it has worked for me. I mix it with almond milk, unsweetened baking cocoa powder and a tablespoon of olive oil in a blender. One could use a teaspoon of cinnamon instead of cocoa powder for a change of pace. Almond milk has half the calories of skim milk.

I have had to break out some of my old clothes during my journey which has given me incentive as well as the clerk at GNC wants to see my progress as he wants to try ALMASED as well.

All I can say that this has been a "FUN" project, especially since has been a journey of self improvement and image.
