I did great at Easter dinner! Tweaked a spinach salad recipe to low carb and brought that along, and dh made lamb with spices that I could eat, so I could avoid the ham that could have been full of sugar. And that's what I ate. Passed up fruit salad (I looked with longing at a piece of pineapple that was at the bottom of the container) and cheesy potatoes. Note to self: best not to be in the kitchen by myself, either preparing or cleaning up. Temptations were not at the table, but when I was alone. Remnants of secret eating in the past? Maybe. But, I completely ignored the candy set at my place, without even curiosity of how it tasted. It was wonderful! Now, on to a strict '72 induction to see if I can break this stall.

Yay YOU! I'm usually worse in the kitchen than at the table. I can control myself when the table is covered with food (sometimes looking at all of it can make me feel ill)! But looking at the smaller pots and dishes in the kitchen? Another story entirely. I can easily nosh my way through a little of this and a little of that, and "Oh, that's not enough to put in Tupperware but still too much to throw away." Plop...into the human trash compactor it goes... :D You did an awesome job today!
