nangeline's Journal, 02 April 2014

I am stuck, need to get un-stuck. Eventhough I did great yesterday, exausted from the exercises but I met my goal yesterday. Don't know what happened with the scale tho. I am motivated (yes I am!) to win this fight with food addiction.
So I'm doing Kale and protein shake day today (8am: 2 shake down 3 togo!), lets see if that doesn't make the scale go down.
Supposed to do apple-day but I hate eating apples, so shake is the next best thing.

Dont forget to rest. When you work out hard you need plenty rest/sleep. You burn calories when asleep too by the way so do your 8hrs.

I sleep between 7-8 hrs but it doesn't seem to be enough. I'll have to go to bed earlier, 9pm. :/

8hrs should be enough. If you still wake up feeling tired I would look into it if I were u. Remember if u dont feed your body enough that will also result in body exhaustion. Thinner leaner stronger by Michael Matthews helped me a lot regarding diet, gym and resting. Maybe get yourself a copy. Im not much into diets I just eat right.

For what it's worth, I stayed the same weight for three weeks and have just lost six pounds in six days while not changing anything I was eating or doing. I've hit these plateaus over and over in the last year; they've gotten more frequent and longer as I've gotten closer to a healthy weight. Our bodies don't like to lose weight and they're going to resist us - but if you're making healthy choices it will eventually give in and you'll drop pounds.

Thanks Florenz0, I'll look into it. Saintblackangel, I have hit a lot of plateau over the years too. It seems that my body fights to lose anything over 10lbs. I lost 17 lbs since 01 Jan, last couple weeks been a struggle to lose even 2 oz.
