Annabelle3117's Journal, 12 December 2013

What a crazy couple days!! Almost didn't make it through the insanity yesterday :-) but here I am, still trucking. Today my client ended up staying home from school sick, which could have ended in a twelve hour day for me.... BUT luckily I found someone eager to get in those hours, and she split the day with me. So I'm home now... at three pm for the rest of the day!! You don't understand how exciting this is, usually the second part of my work day is just beginning. What am I going to do with all this time?! Merry Christmas to me. Oh, and I'm not working tomorrow evening as it is the evening of my hubs company Christmas party... free food and drinks ... wooohooo!

Still sore from the kettle bell Tuesday, topped off by the gym yesterday, so I'm taking a day off from the workout. As important as it is to get in that calorie burn, it's equally important to allow yourself to heal. Tomorrow will be another crazy day, as I will be working in the a.m, going to the gym right after, then heading to a Christmas program my daughter is participating in at the town hall just after noon, then finally getting ready and heading to the Christmas party. All day Saturday we will be chilling at the indoor waterpark, and maybe I'll get back to the gym on Sunday. Believe you me, I am working my butt off to get as close to my final weigh in of 2013 goal as possible. I will do well tomorrow night, I can feel it!

I also have been staying within my calorie ranges, so results should be following. I am having a much better Thursday now that I'm home free for the weekend, finally the stress relents. I hope everyone else is too!!

Ok, so after reading your journals from the past several days, one would surmise that you are a trucking loser. :) Have a great day!

That's quite an observation you've made Joaquin. :-) This trucking loser is going to relax in a nice hot shower. It's like six freakin degrees here lol. Have a great day too!!

I live in ohio, USA. So all of my temp references are in farenheit :-) and I work assisting adults and children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. It is challenging and the pay isn't crap, but its very rewarding. I figured you were on the other side of the planet, as our journaling schedules don't sync. Say hello to a kangaroo for me, and watch out for enormous spiders. I watch a lot of national geographic lol

Wow there you go, shows how wrong you can be; I figured first English, because of the perfect grammar and lack of accent when you are typing lol, but then I though Yolanda sounds more European, Scandinavia somewhere? Gee close wasn't I? haha OK a couple of things (typical for you Americans) 1.....Kangaroos cant speak, and generally wont let you near enough to talk to them, so I don't think I will be saying 'gday to one anytime soon. That said, ohhhhh about half a mile to a mile (making imperial for you :)) away in a National Park I drive past every day there is a large mob of Roos (now Im talking Aussie, mob - the collective noun for a group of kangaroos, and roos - well Aussies shorten everything) so I see 40 - 50 of them every working day as they graze on a grassland. Its a nice view and always cheers me up. 2.....we don't have BIG spiders here, just very venomous ones, we also have lots of snakes, sharks, jelly fish - all of them deadly, that's why we Aussies are so tough lol. Im glad you have a rewarding career and it pretty much sums up my original thoughts of you being such a caring person - Im usually very perceptive. You have a fantastic weekend, my day is brilliant (so far)

Perfect grammar you say? That's even more flattering than beautiful! Contrary to popular belief, some Americans are educated lol. My mom always told me I should be an English teacher because I'm such a grammar nut. As for my origins I was born here in the states, as was my mother and her family, but my father and his family immigrated here from Mexico about five years before my birth. His mom was born in spain, so my genes are all over the place lol. Of course I know Kangaroos don't talk (lol) say 'hello' anyway, its good for ya. Maybe take a picture of that beatiful view for me, as being highly aware of how everything on your continent is deadly I will never visit lol. Thank you for the compliments, but in the words of Nelson Mandela "I am no saint, just a sinner who keeps trying".

sinner schwimmer (do you like my Americanism there?)LOL if you send me an email address I will send you your very own pic of grazing morning roos. Hmmmm hang on a grammatical question............is the word immigrated or emigrated? ohhh damn I think I gotcha. Well Im guessing the Mexican/Spanish genes (not jeans) is what gives you your sensational skin coloring. While I call myself an Aussie now, been here since 71, I was born in the UK, and many many generations all English - but don't hold it against me lol. I hope you have a great weekend, Im going to :)

Immigrated or emmigrated, I did hang on that a moment as I was typing. Maybe they just migrated here? Its a new thing Mexicans are doing that nat geo simply hasn't caught on to yet. Maybe I can audition for our episode of great migrations lol. You have been all over the world, I've barely left the state I was born in. Perhaps someday I'll visit Canada lol. Oh, and regarding my complexion, I'm actually very fair skinned, but as most mexicans do I get darker when the temp goes up. I will send you my email, very excited to see the "roos" perhaps Ill send you a picture of our snow. :-)
