i'm truly dissappointed with myself.. i could have done better this last week. i just did put any effort into losing weight and neither did i go to volleyball practice since i have been sick this whole week... anyway, i'm going to try to compensate this week, although i have a family party tomorrow, which will be full of candy and some other tasty junk food i love... but i must. i must stay away of that types of food
165.8 lb Lost so far: 17.4 lb.    Still to go: 22.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Just remember that trying to deny our cravings completely sets us up for failure. If you have a party with lots of junk food coming up, eat healthy before you go, pack a few healthy snacks to sneak (or make one to share!) and go ahead and indulge in a small helping of the most yummy, most tasty, most bad for you thing you crave! Eat it slowly, savoring it, and maybe eat it close to the end of the party as a reward for eating well the rest of the time. Another trick I use is to wait until the end to eat it, then if it's all gone I'm out of luck! Getting to your goal weight is a journey, and if you don't beat yourself up about the mistakes, you will have more fun and like yourself more as you go. Good luck!
