Today was a little out of the ordinary. I almost didn't eat until a few hours ago not because I was depriving myself intentionally but because of something unexpected that was supposed to take a couple of hours and ended up taking the whole afternoon. The worst is, I left home without eating properly thinking I was going to get back home fast. But I ate some pizza now to take my stomach out of miseries...

Today I swam for the first time in perhaps 2 years. It was surprisingly easy when I did it regularly. I even thought it was so easy that I wasn't getting enough exercising. I used to spend 60 minutes swimming nonstop but today, after all this time, I couldn't do one 50 meter pool without stopping to catch my breath. I like that, it means I'm getting exercise. One of the great things about swimming is that you exercise the whole body in just one exercise. Right now, both my legs and shoulders etc are a little sore but nothing special. I look forward for the next sessions even though that pool is a little to cold for me. I will continue to do some particular weight training exercises that don't put too much strain on my spine though. And I'll also try to do some indoor cycling on non swimming and non weight training days.

Back to eating...
